I have been part of the higher ed sector for almost my entire career. For 20+ years, I have worked as a teacher, administrator, middle manager, leader of leaders and as a director in higher education.

Long before ChatGPT gained worldwide popularity, I had a relentless interest in topics such as digital transformation, digital credentials, exponential growth of digital courses, and data in management decisions. As such, my focus on generative AI aligns with my broader interest in digitalization in the education sector.

In recent years, I have given numerous keynotes and workshops on generative AI for study boards, education committees, advisory boards, leadership teams, administrative units, faculties, boards of directors and everything in between in higher education.

I write the newsletter The Future of Higher Education, and my pieces have been published by UNESCO, the German Goethe-Institut among other places.

 

My educational background is a Master of Arts in English and Danish (2009) and an MBA (2018), both from Aalborg University. I have subsequently completed senior leadership executive education at the Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania (2019), and at Harvard University (2025).

 

I am also an external examiner at all the Danish universities, university colleges and the Danish School of Media and Journalism (DMJX).
